So another birthday has gone and passed. And really this one was something to remember. One day of celebration turned into four days of fun.
My actual birthday consisted of working (hanging out with farmers all day) and then heading out with two of my co-workers to drink copious amounts of wine at a waterfall.
The day after my birthday consisted of being hungover, checking out a museum (part of my job) with my two best friends and then heading to my hometown for a birthday supper and then drinks with friends and family. All of my loves were there and it truly was the most magical night.
Saturday then consisted to heading to #yyc, my old home city to help a friend find a place to live, shop for records and roam around. Headed to a pub for supper with a co-worker and then I checked into my downtown hotel. Met up with my partner in crime shortly after to do some drinks and dancing at a tiki room called Bamboo that plays strickly soul.
Sunday I headed back to my hometown and then to a family celebration to say goodbye to my sister who is moving away to Vancouver. Somehow I made it through the day without crying until I got into my car and was driving home towards Twin Peaks (I mean my new mountain digs).
Who could ask for a better birthday weekend than that? All I wish is that I had some photos to remember these majestic days that I will never get to relive. The stars aligned on the correct weekend and I am truly grateful.
