High Lives

April Playlist:
I'm pretty hopeful that spring will soon be here and I can begin to drink mojitos on my patio and bask in the sun. That's the basic premise of the playlist: bask in the sun, skateboard around, lie on the beach, drink on the patio and hope and pray that summer comes soon.

Under My Wheels

March Playlist:

The playlist this month is inspired by three things:

-One part Metal Evolution. The VH1 documentry series hosted by Sam Dunn. In particular the Thrash episode (which I have watched over 10 times this month).

-One part 90's grunge.

-One part movement. The feeling of driving down the road. Whether it's about crashing motorcycles through walls, driving down the inner state, or the flow of water, this playlist captures the movement of life. Perfect for a drive down the highway at breakneck speed.

Love Interruption

"Love Interruption"- Jack White

Beautiful, honest track on par with Brett Detar.

Nashville Dandy

Jack White

Beginning with The White Stripes,

finding common ground with The Raconteurs,

and then busting out with

The Dead Weather.

He is, in all rights, a rock god

and a Nashville dandy-

Always sporting suave little hats

and beautifully crafted snap button shirts.

His music alone makes me swoon

and love Nashville even more.
