Gut Feeling
I do spend most of my nights sitting around, drinking wine, listening to music and watching LA Ink
and one of the many rock legends to grace the show was Sebastian Bach, who could not help himself but rock out during his tattoo sitting.
This is why, not only is he one of rock's greatest voices, but he is a Rock God.

Wake Up Dead

Everyday I wake up, I'm discovering new music. Genres hold no bounds for me. I am comfortable listening to some 70's sold gold country just as I am with thrash metal, Swedish electro house, and dub rock. Whatever sounds good to me, as corny as that sounds, goes. Every once in a while I go through musical phases. December was a trill wave. January was early 60's kitsch rock and The Smiths. And February is shaping up to be Thrash Metal month.
My sister and I had the pleasure attending Megatour on Saturday night where Motorhead and Megadeth played to a steamed up, drunken crowd. We loved getting soaked with sweat and wound up with neck injuries for the next two days from hitting it too hard. And I found my new obsession.
I actually went to the show stoked to see Lemmy in all his glory, growths and all. And he did not disappoint. But what I didn't know is how polarizing Dave Mustaine from Megadeth would be. He has a gorgeous mane of hair and a voice that is so cartoon like I can't help but laugh when he talks. I was surprised and now I am frankly obsessed. So in commencement to this new obsession, I would like to bring back the Rock Gods segment starting with Mr. Mustaine.

Shiver For Me Now...

There is no way pictures can do this man justice.
Anthony Kiedis
The Rock God who they say
suffers from Iggy Pop syndrome,
which is not at all a bad thing.
One of my fav. vocalists and performers.
He has the stamina of a stallion,
the charm of a snake,
and the body of Michelangelo's "David".
Since 7th grade I've had it bad
and I know that I will always swoon.

Heavier Than Air

Today is the 10th anniversary of something very special.
Ten years ago today one of the top albums of all time
"Relationship of Command" was released by At the Drive-In.
In honour of the anniversary, Cedric Bixler-Zavala
is today's Rock God.
There is no one quite as sexy as this beautiful man.
The way he struts around stage in a silk shirt.
I happened to run into him before a show 3 years ago
and I almost passed out at the sight
of his fro and double denim ensemble.
I was so spell bound I didn't even think of asking
him to pose for a picture.
Seeing Cedric on stage is as close as I will get
to seeing Led Zeppelin perform.
He is like a time bomb exploding
on stage.
No one has stage presence like Cedric
except maybe Iggy Pop.
Also,Cedric has serious mike throwing skills.
See him in action here:

Nashville Dandy

Jack White
Beginning with The White Stripes,
finding common ground with The Raconteurs,
and then busting out with
The Dead Weather.
He is, in all rights, a rock god
and a Nashville dandy-
Always sporting suave little hats
and beautifully crafted snap button shirts.
His music alone makes me swoon
and love Nashville even more.

Learn To Live Again
Dave Grohl.
He should rightfully be featured as a Rock God, but he is one of those guys that slips through the cracks. I forget about the Foo Fighters most of time, but every once and a while I hear one of their songs on the radio, and holy shit, it blows me away every time. The Foo Fighters have such a great powerful sound, and Dave's vocals really grow on me. I love the album One By One. The track "Times Like These" is so sexy and emotional. It gets me by surprise every time. The Foo=quality rock and roll.

Meet Me In the Bathroom

So it's obvious I have a "thing" for Julian Casablancas.
That thing may be described as a "boner" or "obsession",
However you wish to state it.
Julian is the first of the modern day rock gods to be posted.
Mainly he ranks above Steven Tyler, Axyl Rose, and Alice Cooper
because he is so sexy and luscious.
His voice is iconic of a generation and definitely
makes me swoon.
He continues to amaze me with tracks like "Boom Box"
and "5th Dimension" when he is solo.
I await the next Strokes album.

Waiting For the Sun

Jim Morrison
Eternal Rock God.
The sad part is that he just wanted to be
known as a poet.
A few of these images are how
the world chooses to iconicize him.
And the others are as he truly was
a bearded man who wanted
to write poetry and make films.
Not dance around in leather pants
and be a "drunken buffoon"
as Lester Bangs called him in Almost Famous.
