Youth Of The Nation

Ignore the video and just listen to the music.
Besides, when I hear this track, I imagine the rolling surf in Hawaii. Something oceanous. This track just sounds like such a surfing track, especially because they used it in the film Blue Crush. Straight up 2001 kitsch.

Stepping Razor

"They don't make music like this anymore"
We say this so often but I mean it about this track.
Pure ganja induced pleasure.
"Stepping Razor"- Peter Tosh

Why Wait Any Longer?

All down the moonlight mile

It's Jan. 2nd and life is flying by at break neck speed. I would like to take a minute and acknowledge the new year. I feel last year was a stretching time; new city, new friends. It was a very lonely time for me. I feel that 2011 will be a more relaxed, calming year. I can feel the nostalgia coming on already. I think this new year will be only a time for me to evolve, not necessarily grow, but rather a chance to become more of my true self and really hone in on my key interests. I hope, like always, that the new year brings new friends and new opportunities.

And as Dylan says:
"Why wait any longer for the world to begin
You can have your cake and eat it too,
Why wait any longer for the one you love
When he's standing in front of you..."

Trick It Up!

A collection of some of my fav. Lilo pics
from the hot mess days.
Lilo is released from rehab tomorrow and hopefully
she gets back in the sober game.

Speechless

So apparently it was really wet in L.A.
So wet that MK had to rock this gothic, fur umbrella ensemble.
I'm in awe. Smoke away.

Now I Got You In The Undertow

Warpaint- "Undertow"
My sister showed me this band (She saw a write up in Teen Vogue?) and I have been crazy about them ever since.
This video is pure magic. Frolic-like and the young girl reminds me of my self when I was that age.
It's so beautiful, just let yourself drift off...
