Sun Don't Shine No More
The time in the Sun Palace is ending. Due to noise issues from the basement tenants, Sweethart of the Rodeo will be packing up suitcases and yet again moving.
This time we are heading downtown into a high rise wise a balcony and epic city view. I'm stoked for the move, even though it is a massive pain, as it is yet another chance to start anew. It's a time to get rid of some material possessions; minimize and organize. I am also excited to live downtown where everything is a 5 min walk.
The Sun Palace will be missed: The huge yard with mature trees, the 1940's character home with crystal door knobs, the beautiful fire place, and the majestic wood floors. We are making some sacrifices but in the end I think this move will be a positive change.
Bring it.

One Big World
Kreayshawn- "Gucci Gucci"
I love this video for several reasons.
1) It's trashy.
2) This one particular verse: "I got the swag and it's pumping out of my ovaries."
3) Kreayshawn's sidekick looks identical to one of my best friends. The hair, the glasses, the jean vest, etc.
4) The hook is sweet. So are the beats. What else are you going to do but listen?

Cherry
Y'all know I'm big on fashion muses and trashy ladies
and Taryn Manning seems to fit both of these.
She is in the best TV show on TV right now (Sons of Anarchy)
and she fronts her own band (Boomkat)
She can rock any hair colour and I really admire her "big brown eyes" look.
She's the perfect old lady.
