Fly Away

Another month has spun by. The sun is starting to shine now on a regular basis. My herbs are out on the balcony, drinks are being consumed on patios; Can I say that summer is almost here?
The May playlist is all over the map: metal, rap, classic rock, slow jams, smokin' jams. It's all there to be enjoyed on a summer day.

We Are Free

"The Ballad"- Testament
Screen shots from the video. Super grainy but it's an incredible track plus
Testament use to be quite attractive back in 1989.
Every time I see this photos, all I can hear is Chuck Billy's voice singing "Yeahhhhhhhhhh"
Watch it here

New School Vibes

I am the lizard king, I can do anything...
This skate vid. by Supra and Thrasher brings all those skate memories back. The days when I use to shoot the shit with a whole bunch of dudes, skating, drinking beer, listening to Judas Priest tapes backwards, and generally being a shit disturber. Granted, I was not a great skater, I was a way better skate photographer, I still enjoy the skate lifestyle. Not the high octane X-Games pro-skater, but the low key, smoking j's and vibing with the concrete waves skater. This vid. encapsulates all of the beauty and passion behind legit skateboarding. Finding hidden spots, meeting people on the road, shotgunning beers and generally having a good time. This is the new school version of Lords of Dogtown, where the skaters are not trying to get rich but rather living a lifestyle of leisure and pleasure, where the true passion is at.

Sweet Jane

Have You Ever Seen the Rain?

Some scenic shots near a camp ground my Aunt and Uncle use to manage. Can't believe my mom grew up 5 mins. away from this beautiful spot. Photographs courtesy of my roommate Elin.
