Day 16 of 25 Days of Bowie
Bowie joined Canadian group Arcade Fire on Stage for Fashion Rocks in 2005. It seemed like serendipity, the way Bowie's voice is made for "Wake Up."

"Fun Time"- Iggy Pop and David Bowie
The relationship between these two can never be explained. At least we received many groundbreaking albums out of the deal.

Day 3 of 25 Days of Bowie:
"Dancing in the Street"- David Bowie and Mick Jagger
Bowie has had many collaborations, but one of the most iconic and mystical is by far the working relationship between Bowie and Mick Jagger. Watch this video, take in the obvious chemistry and decide for yourself.

1986 Bowie in "Labyrinth." Bowie plays a menacing Jareth, the Goblin King.

The Stars Are Out Tonight

Day 1 of 25 Days of Bowie:
"The Stars Are Out Tonight"- David Bowie
There was this rumour, Bowie would never record music again. Ten years passed, and then after must anticipation, here comes the Thin White Duke himself with a new album. This track encompasses the album, slick and quirky with those stellar Bowie vocals.

25 Days of Bowie

I've been wracking my brain thinking of playlist ideas for December, and then it dawned on me, after stepping out of the shower and hearing "Ashes to Ashes" on my playlist, it's time to resurrect 25 Days of Bowie. I started the David Bowie themed advent count down in 2009 on this blog and it's time to bring it back. Each day in December will have a David Bowie themed post with a treat of some sort: video, playlist, graphic, book, etc. This is by far the best and most awesome way to count down to Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Day 25 of 25 Days of Bowie
The day is finally here!
This is the end of the Bowie extravaganza
so the above photo(which I take no credit for)
is a treat.
Farewell Bowie, though we will most likely meet again.
Oh and Merry Christmas!
