Playing with Fire

She's your Cherry Bomb.
Cherie Currie from the Runaways.
A definite style icon of the late 70's.
A little bit of Bowie, a little bit of teenage sex kitten
rolled into one.
I love her silver lame jump suits, Bowie shirts,
scarves, and sun bleaches Valley girl vibes.
(All pictures, except #2 and 3 are by Brad Elterman)

Girl In Love

"Girl in Love"- The Smith Westerns

This track is so T-Rex like, I think Marc Bolan would be proud.
It took me a while to warm up to the Smith Westerns. I think the first time I listened to them, I didn't hear this song, because this song is the gateway drug.
It's bringing me in.

Young Girl, They Call Them The Diamond Dogs...

Day 16 of 25 Days of Bowie Extravaganza

This picture here is what I chose to represent Diamond Dogs. I don't care for the album cover, so this photo here is the next best thing.

The album Diamond Dogs is supposedly based off the book 1984 by George Orwell. I recomend to listen to the album while you read the book. See if you can make a connection.

Heart Shaped Glasses Pt. 2

Oh la la. Voici Evan.
Here she is, the cover girl.
Admire and wish you were Michael Douglas's daughter in King of California.

"You're the Only Prostitute Here"

Oh Gossip Girl you say it best.
Truly you are the only prost. in this house...

I know that I am late on this G.G. train, so let's make this trip a short one.

G.G. is house hold lingo. It's becoming that classic quotable trash that I love. It's so trashy and epic, that like a train wreck, I can't pry my eyes away from it.

Chuck Bass is def. the trick I would turn.

P.S. - Gossip Girl should be paired with a french press of Italian Roast, fudgesicles and cigarettes.
