I'd Be In On This Pill Of Wonders!

Finally, after many years of experimentation, a mad scientist from Russia has developed an Alcohol pill.

Yes this mad scientist found a magical way to turn liquid into powder and bam, you have a booze pill.

No more "breaking the seal", spilling on yourself, or scrambling to find mix and ice. Yes this pill of wonders can contain up to a 96% alcohol content and comes in all of your favorite beverages.

I think everything should come in pill form like this. I especially think Lucille Bluth would approve of this pill the most.

On the 5th Day Of Bowie, the Good Lord Gave To Me...

Day 4 of 25 days of Bowie

This is Bowie circa 1993. I think he looks like he belongs on that guido show Jersey Shore that MTV recently came out with.

Oh hot tramp, I love you so

Day 3 of 25 Days of Bowie
This is the infamous persona named Ziggy Stardust.
Just epic, one of Bowie's best looks circa 1972

Is There Life On Mars?

Day 2 of 25 days of Bowie

Bowie from Life on Mars. Not quite sure what this phase is. Perhaps transitioning into Ziggy Stardust.

Bowies Personas in commercial

This is a commercial for Vittel bottled water. Their slogan is "Chaque jour une vie nouvelle" which means each day is a new life. For Bowie, each day really is a new life or rather persona.

The 25 Days of Bowie

Like the traditional Advent Calender, we shall count down 25 days of David Bowie. Each day shall feature a different look/persona of Bowie. Why should we do this? Only because Bowie is the shiz.

So here it goes:

Day 1
Bowie as Rebel Rebel.
Eye patch and bulge included.

JFK- not the airport

Okay, okay this boy (man?) has got me hooked in a bad way. He is none other than Jesse Keeler of MSTRKRFT.

First, I fell in love with Death From Above 1979 a few years back. In high school my friends would play You're a woman, I'm a Machine at every party and we would throw down in the living room to it. I remember that ominous day when I had just made a custom DFA t-shirt earlier in the day, and when I got back to my place later on I found out DFA had broken up. I was devastated, but then my friend turned me on to MSTKRFT and explained Keeler was one part of the DJ duo.

I also remember the first time I heard MSTKRFT while driving around in that same friends car. It was like nothing I had ever heard, and it is still beyond epic.

Each time I see MSTKRFT live I have to fight the urge to bust up to Keeler and stroke that luscious mustache. I also have to fight the urge to attempt to get a swig out of that infamous Crown Royal bottle they bring to every gig. During the shows, Keeler lights cigarette after cigarette, so hence the accompanied photo. Beyond epic is the best description I can come up with for the beats Keeler produces.
