Checking my mailbox each day has become quite the adventure. Today guess what I received : This wonderful image of Michael Jackson. Thanks again RollingStone!
It saddens me to hear of the loss of the writer Frank McCourt. He is the author of the memoirs Angela's Ashes, 'Tis and Teacher Man. I remember my friend telling me about reading Angela's Ashes a long time ago. She claimed that she read it when she was in Grade 5. I thought "Man that is graphic for a youngster". I guess her reading skills were advanced because that book was wonderfully enrapturing. As soon as I finished it was on to the 2nd. Here are some notes/quotes I took down while reading 'Tis:
Oh this is old but still priceless. Shia LaDouche in his prime hiding from the paparazzi. Paper Bagging it hard core style with a garbage bag over his cast and a 99 cent Arizona Ice Tea can. Priceless and trashy, but still Would You Hit It?
This album is insane. So good. I have this on vinyl and I can't stop playing it. It's the type of album that grows on you. Start out on "DLZ" or "Golden Age" and then progress to "Dancing Choose" or "Red Dress". Dear Science was listed by RollingStone and Spin as the top album of 2008. Definitely TV On the Radio's best.
I thought these episodes were over. I guessed wrong..jpg)
"Each book I read, I feel I become one with the characters.
Each biography I read, I fuse together with the characters.
I have become Jim Morrison
I have become Janis Joplin
I have become Andy Warhol
I have become Miss Pamela DeBarres
Each film I watch, I connect with at least one character.
Their predicaments become mine
Their environments become mine as well
In the Royal Tenenbaums, I am all the characters
I am in love with myself
Divorcing myself
Stabbing myself
Cheating on myself
Committing suicide to my own soul.
One day I will become stuck in this alter character reality
One day I will not be myself, but a completely fabricated character from a film or novel."
This trick is almost as bad as Megan Fox. I think they should have a duel to see who would win the prize for the most annoying. Luscious Lindsay Lohan (hahaha alliteration) is always up to no good and I find myself almost interested. I will admit that I do enjoy reading about her current episodes of fuckery on D-Listed. What is this delusion? I was a fan of Parent Trap and Freaky Friday but Georgia Rule come on? It is true Hohan has grown up but please stop acosting my eyes with this Hot Mess called your life!
