There is something about this band that really caputures me. I saw an ad for their first album in Rolling Stone in 2006. I went and bought the album and fucking loved it.
The vocals are creepily sexy in a non Marilyn Manson way. More like Paul Banks from Interpol blended with some Bravery and Julian Casablancas. The music is edgy and dark but still dancey. All the songs are about sex, love and clubs, which fits perfectly with the music.
When I hear She Wants Revenge, I want to prowl around a club in heels, clutching a glass of wine, and dance. This band is all about atmosphere and I really can't describe it anymore other than what the above video captures.
